You cannot catch a lv3 Pidgey because Pikachu’s thundershock will kill it in one shot. While in this bush you are looking to catch a lv6 Male Nidoran, and any lv5 Pidgey that may appear prior to the Nidoran. Watch him fail to catch a lv5 Rattata and then proceed north to the Nidoran Bush. When you leave the Pokemon Mart head west and then north to the Old Man cut scene. With the WR time now being so fast, having a paralyze heal and a spare ball is extra menu’ing to get rid of, and time needs to be optimized as much as possible.
